Pizza Burgers1 lb. ground beef1/4 cup chopped fresh basil 2 tsp. garlic powder (or to your liking) 1 tsp. kosher salt 1/4 tsp. ground pepper Cooking spray 4 yummy buns, fresh from the bakery Butter as needed to spread on top bun 1 cup TJ's pizza sauce sliced fresh mozzarella cheese Combine the first 5 ingredients in a bowl and mix well with your hands and form into 4 patties. Heat broiler. Slice buns in half, spread top half with butter and sprinkle with garlic powder. Broil buns, cut side up until a little brown on the edges. Heat a nonstick grill pan or skillet to medium/med high. Coat with cooking spray. Cook burgers to your desired doneness and when just about finished, cover burgers with slices of the mozzarella. Place burger on bottom bun, spread pizza sauce on top bun and put it all together. Enjoy! http://cooktoplease.blogspot.com Submitted on 06/10/2010 by llijchef Number of people who have "favored" this: 0 Add your own reviewReviews (0)
